01 / THE JOURNAL & THIS NOTICE

Where this policy applies

ELVARYXA publishes the global journal at blog.elvaryxa.com. This Cookie Policy applies to this blog. Other ELVARYXA websites and independent services may have separate notices.

Location: India, Assam
Cookie enquiries: contact@elvaryxa.com

Read this together with our Privacy Policy, which explains personal-information handling, service providers and requests about your information.

02 / COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

What your browser may store

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can help a website recognise a session or remember a setting. Local storage and similar browser technologies can also retain information on your device.

First-party cookies relate to the website you visit. Third-party cookies can relate to another provider whose resources appear on a page. Their availability depends partly on your browser settings.

Pixels, tags and externally hosted resources can involve technical requests or activity measurement without necessarily setting a cookie. Server logs are also different from browser cookies; broader information handling is explained in our Privacy Policy.

03 / PURPOSES & CATEGORIES

Why these technologies are used

Depending on the features in use, purposes may include:

  • Operation and security: maintaining authorised sessions, supporting requested functions and helping prevent misuse.
  • Preferences: remembering a language, display setting or information you choose to save.
  • Measurement: understanding visits, interactions or technical performance when measurement tools are enabled.
  • Advertising and referrals: delivering or measuring ads and attributing referrals when relevant services are used.

Whether a technology is necessary depends on its actual purpose. Describing a category here does not mean every technology in that category runs on every visit.

04 / WORDPRESS & WEBSITE FUNCTIONS

Login, preferences & comments

This journal uses WordPress. Visiting a login screen or signing in can involve a test cookie, authentication cookies and interface-preference cookies. These generally concern authorised users rather than someone simply reading an article.

Examples include wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_… and wp-settings-…. If comments and a remember-details option are offered, comment-author cookies may save details you choose to remember.

Hosting, caching and security features may use additional cookies or technical identifiers depending on their settings. The examples above describe possible WordPress functions; they are not a list of cookies measured in your current browser session.

05 / OPTIONAL GOOGLE TOOLS

Analytics & advertising

If Google Analytics is enabled: cookies or related identifiers may help measure visits and interactions and produce audience reports. See Google’s partner-site information and its Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

If Google AdSense or other Google advertising is enabled: Google and participating vendors may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Personalised advertising may reflect visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s settings are available through My Ad Center. Read how Google uses cookies and the Google Privacy Policy. Other advertising vendors have their own notices and controls.

These descriptions apply to tools used on this blog. A Google integration on another ELVARYXA website does not establish that the same tool is enabled here.

06 / EMAIL FEATURES & EMBEDDED CONTENT

Resources from other providers

The website includes a Hostinger Reach integration resource. Loading an externally hosted resource can send an IP address and browser request details to its provider, even without a form submission. This does not, by itself, establish which cookies were stored.

If a connected subscription form is offered and used, it may involve submitted details and subscription records. Email delivery, opening or link-click measurement depends on campaign settings. Use an email’s unsubscribe option or contact us to stop marketing messages.

Embedded videos, social posts and other external features, where included, may connect to their providers and involve cookies or similar technologies. Those providers’ privacy information also applies. See the Hostinger Privacy Policy for information about Hostinger’s services.

07 / AFFILIATE & EXTERNAL LINKS

When you visit another website

An affiliate link may contain a referral identifier. When you follow it, the destination website or affiliate network may receive referral details and use its own cookies to attribute a visit or purchase.

A link and an embedded resource work differently: an ordinary link takes you to another website, while an embedded resource can contact a provider as part of loading the current page.

Review the destination’s privacy and cookie information. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains the commercial context of relevant referral links.

08 / CONTROLS & CONSENT

Managing cookies on your device

Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to inspect, delete or restrict cookies. Controls differ by browser and device. Chrome users can consult Google’s cookie-management instructions.

Blocking cookies may affect login, saved preferences or other features. Deleting site data can sign you out or reset settings. A cookie removed today may be set again during a later visit if your settings allow it.

Where a website preference panel is available, use it to make or change the optional choices it covers. Browser and provider controls may still be needed for stored data. Reading this policy does not make a cookie choice.

Where applicable law or a relevant provider policy requires consent, the affected optional storage or advertising needs that consent before use. Changing a preference does not automatically erase information already received; contact us about a related information request.

09 / DURATION & STORED INFORMATION

How long information remains

Session cookies are associated with a browser session. Persistent cookies can remain until their expiry or deletion. Browser features may affect how sessions and expiry are handled.

Actual names and durations depend on the service, purpose, configuration and browser. Local storage can remain until removed by the website or your browser. Use your browser’s site-data tools to inspect stored items where that facility is available.

Deleting browser storage does not necessarily delete server records or information already held by a provider. See our Privacy Policy for wider retention information and how to raise a request.

10 / UPDATES & QUESTIONS

Keeping this notice current

This policy may change as website features, providers or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies its latest revision. Material changes may require additional notice or a new choice where applicable.

For a question about a cookie or website feature, email contact@elvaryxa.com. Include the page, browser and cookie name where available. Avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal information.
